Description
A clinically competent, Professional Registered Nurse who delivers immediate nursing care to newborns and any patient, regardless of age, who requires Obstetrical care.
Possessess the ability to intereact with the Hospital and Community population. Effectively interacts with patient, significant other(s), healthcare team memebers and ancilllary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Functions in the Charge Nurse position when delegated.
Hours
Hours are 12 hr. shifts from 7am to 7pm; Second position hours are from 7pm to 7am. Shifts vary as scheduled. Includes every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Experience
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in Obstetrics preferred.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate fluently, verbal and written.
Current BLS and newborn resuscitation preferred.
NRP Certified.
