Description
The Home Health / Hospice Aide is an unlicensed, para-professional employee, who is prepared to assist the sick or disabled, at home/nursing home or an infirmed guest(s) at Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall when no family member is available or able to assume this responsibility. The Home Health/Hospice Aide functions in a supportive relationship to professional disciplines and may function as an extension of these professional services with appropriate supervision and guidance.

Hours
Varies as scheduled, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Experience
Possesses a current certificate as a Certified Nursing Asst(CNA)
Possesses a current PA driver\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s license and automobile insurance.
Must have access to independent transportation in order to compy with the standards of the job description.
Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form.
Demonstrates ability to organize and communicate effectively.
Has completed a Home Health Aide training course given or approved by Columbia Montour Home Health Services/VNA.
