Description
A clinically competent individual who assists non-acutely ill medical and surgical patients and/or Psychiatric patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care, and observation of patients under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse on the unit and/or Nursing Supervisor. Possesses the ability to interact with the Hospital and Community population. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse/Supervisor.
Hours
Hours are from 3pm to 11pm. Hours include every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
Experience
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to communicate fluently, verbal and written.
Previous experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
Current BLS preferred.
Current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
