Description
A clinically competent, Professional Licensed Practical Nurse who under the supervision of a Registered Nurse delivers nursing care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation to acutely ill medical/surgical patients in an acute care facility.
Possess the ability to interact with the Hospital and Community.
Effectively interacts with patient, significant other(s), healthcare team members and ancillary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Performs other related duties as assigned by Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
Hours
Hours vary as scheduled and could be from either 7am to 3pm or from 3pm to 11pm. Includes every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
Experience
Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Previous medical-surgical experience preferred.
Current BLS preferred.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate, verbal and written.
