Description
A competent individual who promotes safety for patients, employees, visitors and physicians through the enforcement of Hospital, Unit and Security policies. Performs regular patrols of assigned area to identify any unsafe or unusual conditions.
Patient population ranges from adolescence through
geriatrics. Possesses the ability to interact with the hospital and community population in accordance with the individual’s age group and level of growth and development. Performs
other related duties as assigned by the Head Nurse/Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor and/or Security Technician designee.
Hours
Hours vary as scheduled. Must be available to work first, second and third shifts as needed.
Includes weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Abilityto successfully complete our three-month employee training program.
Ability to follow written and oral directions.
Previous law enforcement, security or fire fighting experience preferred.
Current PA Driver’s License required.
Current BLS/CPR preferred.
