Description
A clinically competent Licensed Practical Nurse who under the supervision of a Registered Nurse delivers nursing care to acutely ill ICCU patients requiring specialized care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation in an acute care facility.
Effectively interacts with patient, significant other(s), healthcare team members and ancillary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Performs other related duties as assigned by Head Nurse/Charge Nurse.
Hours
Hours are 12 hr. shifts from 7am to 7pm. Hours include every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
Experience
Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Previous medical-surgical experience preferred.
Telemetry experience preferred.
Current BLS preferred.
Ability to follow written, oral instructions and communicate verbal and written.
