Systems Support Specialist: Full-Time

Description

The Systems Support Specialist maintains the configuration and optimal operational status of the primary HIS system. Duties include system software maintenance, configuration modifications, customer support, and system and process training. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of hospital specific Revenue Cycle concepts as well as a familiarity of the business line for each department utilizing the system.

Hours

Hours are from 7am to 3pm Monday thru Friday.

Experience

High school graduate, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2-3 years of experience within the Revenue Cycle.
Strong knowledge of front-end processing in multi-registration areas required.
Strong knowledge of back-end processes including follow-up and cash posting.
Excellent working knowledge of Patient Access and Patient Accounting operations and applications.
Knowledgeable of third party payors and reimbursement issues.
Strong knowledge of system management of the CPSI HIS system preferred.
