Description
Plans, organizes, coordinates and administers treatment of patients requiring Physical Therapy, exercising professional judgement, knowledge, and skills in managing treatment plans for the purpose of restoring physical functions.
Evaluation and assessment of patients referred for physical therapy determining appropriate goals in plans of care.
Will ensure quality of patient care and assure completion of all required documentation of patient care activities in a timely manner. Adhere to the established policies and procedures of the hospital.
Hours
Hours consist of 40 hrs. per week with occasional weekend coverage.
Experience
Baccalaureate (4 year) degree, Masters Degree or Doctorate Degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Possesses a current license as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and holds current BLS certification.
Understands and has experience with the basic equipment used in exercise, modalities used in outpatient and/or inpatient therapy.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, additional languages preferred.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Basic knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology.
Overtime as required.
