Description
A clinically competent, Professional Registered Nurse who delivers nursing care to the acutely ill psychiatric patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. Possesses the ability to interact with the Hospital and Community population in accordance with the individual's age group and level of growth and development. Effectively interacts with patient, significant other(s), healthcare team members and ancillary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Performs other related duties as assigned by Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Functions in the Charge Nurse position when delegated, and assumes the responsibility for the assignment of and supervision of all Nursing Staff members on his/her unit for the direct and indirect provision of nursing care.
Hours
Hours are from 3pm to 11pm. Hours Include every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
Experience
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Previous Psychiatric and/or Medical/Surgical experience preferred.
Current BLS preferred.
