Description
Performs various clinical chemistry tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Monitors the performance of blood testing via the various analyzers within this particular section. Supervises and evaluates the performance of all individuals who are assigned to this area of the laboratory.
Hours
Usual Hours are 7AM - 3PM on weekdays and every other weekend from 2:30PM-10:30PM. Additional hours scheduled as needed.
Experience
Education: Documentation of certification and degree (diploma/transcripts/certificate by conferring Board of Registry) from an accredited laboratory medicine program.
Maintains qualification to perform high complexity testing under CLIA standards 493.1489 and 493.1491 with a defined role of General Supervisor.
Experience: Five (5) years clinical laboratory experience necessary.
