Description
A clinically competent, Professional Registered Nurse with Critical Care training who delivers nursing care to the acutely ill medical and surgical patients requiring specialized nursing care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Possesses the ability to interact with the Hospital and Community population. Effectively interacts with patient, significant other(s), healthcare team members and ancillary personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Performs other related duties as assigned by Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Functions in the Charge Nurse position when delegated, and assumes the responsibility for the assignment of and supervision of all Nursing Staff members on his/her unit for the direct and indirect provision of nursing care.
Hours
Hours are 8 or 12 hour shifts from 7pm to 7am (with rotation to 7am to 7pm shift). Both positions includes every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. Second position is from 7am to 7pm with other possible shifts of 7am-3fpm,11am-11pm pr 3pm-11p
Experience
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Critical Care Training, and/or experience in preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS preferred.
