Description

A competent individual who performs a variety of dietary functions for Food and Nutrition Services in an acute care community hospital. Must possess the ability to interact with the hospital patients, employees and visitors. Performs other assignments as instructed by the Director of Food and Nutrition Services and/or designee.

Hours

Hours vary. Must be available to work any of the following shifts: 6am-2pm, 6:30am-2:30pm, 7am-3pm or 11am-7pm. Hours include weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Experience

High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Previous experience desired, but on the job training is provided. Ability to communicate fluently, verbal and written. Ability to follow all State, County and DOH standards of food sanitation, preparation, handling and service. Current BLS preferred.
